As a futurist, Catherine has assisted both public and private organizations in assessing and anticipating their long term future(s). For many years, Catherine worked as a futurist at Pantopicon, an Antwerp based studio for design and foresight. Before that she took part in the Copenhagen Institute For Futures Studies’ Global Scanning Network. In 2010 she was one of the digital nomad pioneers of Europe, thereby applying and exploring futures made possible through technology. At this very moment, she is preparing a PhD on the possible applications of a complex-system worldview within futures studies. Catherine has a master in Philosophy from the University of Ghent.
