Julius Kusuma is a research scientist at Facebook Connectivity, aiming to help bring more people to a faster internet. At Facebook, he works on technologies for rural connectivity and wireless networks, including mmWave and Wi-Fi. Prior to Facebook, he was a research program manager at Schlumberger Research, where he worked on subsurface and subsea connectivity technologies. Julius received his doctorate from MIT in 2006, where he was an MIT Presidential Fellow, and also attended UC Berkeley and Purdue University.
